Nancy Louise Stewart passed away in her sleep at the age of 92, with her mind still sharp and her heart still loving and praying for us all. She was a beautiful, petite framed lady with her long black hair, near flawless complexion and red lipstick maintained to the last day.
She was the youngest and last surviving daughter of Troy and Tina Bell Boone of Elm Mott, Texas. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sue Lancaster and Martha Burson. Nancy graduated from Waco High and worked at the Farm Bureau.
Nancy was the beautiful bride of Fred L. Stewart, also of Waco, for just over 50 years before he passed in 2000. She was a Homemaker and Beauty Consultant. She is survived by their 3 children Cindy Morgan (David), Mike Stewart (Donna), and Laura Beard. She was loved as “Nana” by her 6 grandchildren, Chance, Ryan, Misti, Kyle, Randy, and Travis, and 3 bonus grandchildren, Michael, Monica, and Amanda. She is also survived by her loving nieces Linda Wells, Becky McElreath, and Janice Candler. She was blessed with the joy of having 9 great grandchildren. She smiled so big, recently touching the mother’s belly of great grandchild number 10, due in June. She loved music, especially Elvis. She loved theater, fashion, traveling, dancing, and painting in her youth, and flower gardening in her senior years. Most of all, she loved her family and her adored chihuahua, Tinker. We were all blessed to have her in our lives for so long.
There will be a private family entombment on May 1, 2024, at Waco Memorial Park. Flowers will be received at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, Texas, until 9:00 AM Wednesday.
