Nancy Robinette

Nancy Sue Robinette passed from this life Wednesday, December 3, 2014, in Waco. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 8, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. A time of visitation and reflection with the family will be 2 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 7, at the funeral home.
Nancy was born in Grant, Alabama, on May 28, 1935. She came to Texas in 1952 and started her family with two children, Mike and Monette Mallory. In 1971, Nancy met and married James Robinette. They were blessed with one son, James Robinette, II. Her passion in life was her family first, and her work. She retired with 30 years at the U.S. Postal Service, receiving three Superior Awards. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Nancy enjoyed watching her grandchildren in their many sporting events. She was an avid fan of six-man football. She loved her family.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and one step-son, Steve Robinette.
Nancy is survived by her husband, James Robinette; one sister, Carolyn Willis and husband Troy; her children, Mike Mallory of Strawn and Sherry Poston, Monette Pierce of Strawn and husband Mike; and James Robinette of Robinson; stepchildren, Nancy Denard of Crawford and husband Donnie, and Jean-Ann Robinette of Waco; grandchildren, Shane Mallory, Jesse Pierce, Tamara Ratlif, Orin Mallory, Crystal Bernhardt, Dustin Denard, and John Robert Cline; eleven great-grandchildren and two on the way. She is also survived by a large Postal Service family.
Nancy was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
