Murile Sturtevant

Murile Whitt Sturtevant, 85, of Robinson, passed away Sunday December 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. Interment will follow at Carolina Cemetery in Falls County. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 6-8p.m. at the funeral home.

Murile was born July 26, 1930 to Lester and Alice Whitt in Chilton. She grew up in the Chilton area, graduating from Lott High School.

Murile is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph Charles Sturtevant; mother, Alice Whitt Thomas; father, Lester Whitt; and brother, Harold Whitt.

Murile is survived by her daughter, Teresa S. McCune and husband Preston; son, Keith J. Sturtevant and wife Rhonda K.; grandson, Logan K. Sturtevant; granddaughter, Taylor M. Sturtevant; three nieces, Jill McIntyre, Patricia Sturtevant, and Linda Grubbs; nephew, Lester E. Whitt; along with several grand-nieces and nephews.
