Mildred Jane Koester

Mildred Jane Koester, age 94, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024. There will be a visitation to celebrate her life on Tuesday, June 25^th from 6:00 – 8:00 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco. There will be a prayer service beginning at 7:00.

Mildred was born March 18, 1930 to William and Elsie (Fedro) Kuehl in Riesel, Texas. She married Melvin Koester on April 4, 1948. Mildred worked in the jewelry business for many years and had a love for jewelry and that business. In her spare time she enjoyed painting and gardening, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Kim Sebik; son, Kevin Koester and wife Patricia; grandchildren, Haley Jo Neal and Morgan Rich; great-grandchildren, Braxtyn, Bentley, and Baylor Rich; sister, Lorean Pulley; brother, Wilburn Kuehl; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
