Michael Suggs

Michael James Suggs, 53, left to reside in his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Wisconsin. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Monday, May 9 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco. A private burial will be at a later date.
Mike was born to parents, Richard Davis “R.D.” Suggs and Mabel Viola Storer Suggs on July 12, 1962 in Waco, Texas. He graduated from University High School. Mike followed his father’s footsteps to become a master pipefitter and had been a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union No. 529. He was also enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he received a general discharge.
Mike made many friends in his life adventures and will always be remembered for his contagious laugh, sense of humor, his energy, and his overall zest for life. Anyone who met him, loved him and never forgot him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Davis “R.D.” Suggs and Mabel Viola Storer Suggs, and grandparents, Ivan Harold Storer, Sr. and Viola Mabel Storer.
Survivors include daughter, Ashley Suggs, granddaughter, Averial Suggs of Waco; brother, Richard “Skip” Suggs and wife, Sherry of College Station; sister, Rosemary Merritt and Husband, Bobby of Lorena; nieces, Amy Suggs Styniski and Elissa Suggs; nephews, Brannon Suggs, Ryan Merritt, and Brent Merritt. Also surviving him is the mother of his only daughter, Marilyn Rindos; his forever love, Sandra Lee Deaton; three sons he considered his own, Rich, Nick, and Michael Erminger; plus grandchildren, Nicholas and Sophia; along with his extended family, Jackie and Gary Storer (a first cousin whom he considered to be his brother); niece and nephew, Nicole and Brandon Douglas.
