Michael Martinez

Michael Martinez, 25, of Waco, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015. Funeral services will be 9:00am Saturday, November 7, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco with Father Benji officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, at the funeral home, followed by a visitation with family and friends at 7:00 p.m.

Michael was born September 21, 1990 to Salvador and Gloria Martinez; he was the 6th of seven children. He attended Waco High School and never married.

Michael was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Raquel “Gaby” Hernandez and his grandparents Isaias Canchola, Atenojenes Martinez and Refugio Flores.

Survivors include his parents Salvador Martinez and Gloria Martinez, sisters Laura Berger and husband Dale; and Imelda Martinez; brothers Salvador, Juan, and Josue Martinez; nieces Ale, Melanie, Jade and Isabella; nephews Christopher, Joshua, Jonathan, and Jacob.

Pallbearers will be Salvador Martinez, Juan Martinez, Josue Martinez, Dale Berger, Christopher Berger and Gracielo Tovar.
