Michael Love went to his heavenly home to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on March 10, 2017 at Providence Hospital with his wife Janice at his side. Family visitation will be Monday March 20th from 6 -8 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday March 21st at 1pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Price officiating. Burial will follow at Eddy Cemetary. Michael was born on August 22, 1944 in Brackenridge, Tx to Lester Jonathan Love and Annilee (Smith) Love. At an early age Michael’s dad passed, and he became the man of the house. He also was called to be a minister at an early age. His two sisters and his mother sang as a family at many churches in Texas. He was a pastor of several churches as well. His mother taught Michael and his sisters to harmonize their voices. She also taught them to play the piano, and guitar. Michael was a piano player as well as a piano tuner, rebuid & repair business “Your Piano Needs Love”. In January 1969 while he was teaching guitar he met the love of his life Janice Carol (Murphy) Love, and they married on August 29, 1969. Over the years they were blessed with three children and he loved his children very much. He enjoyed traveling, flying kites, model airplanes, and picnics with his family. Preceding him are his parents & half-brother Duane Love. Michael is survived by his wife Janice, their children and spouses Julie Marie Love Deaver, husband Shane Deaver, Dawna Sherie Love Forcey, husband Clyde Forcey, and one son Jason-Michael Edwain Love, grandchildren Dayton Nanny, Mariah Nanny, Shania Forcey, & Robert Forcey, sisters Johnette Love, Faith Love Rose & husband Bruce Rose all of Georgetown, TX, brother in law Gaylon Murphy and spouse Phyllis Murphy of Mesquite, TX sister in law Ina Love, nieces Heather Rose, Leslie Ann Love, nephews Christopher Rose, Jonathan Love, as well as two great nieces & nephews. Special thanks go to the nurses and doctors at Providence Hospital ICU, 2nd floor, & 3rd floor, the CHF clinic nurses and doctors, cardiologists, & nurses at Quality Care nursing home. Michael’s mission in life was to help save souls for Heaven. For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting Life. John 3:16
