Maxine Kilgore

Maxine May Kilgore, 73, of Bruceville, passed away Wednesday November 29, 2017. A graveside service will be 1pm Monday December 4 at Cottonwood Cemetery in Falls County with Richard Kaechler officiating. The family will receive visitors from 4-6 pm Sunday December 3 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Waco.
Maxine was born Jan 9, 1944 to Eugene B and Edna Shelley in Iowa. She married Billy Kilgore on Jan. 10, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa. They shared love and cherished each other for over 53 years. She loved sewing, needlepoint, crocheting, cooking and canning fruits and vegetables. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Maxine was an active Jehovah Witness at the Waco congregation.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billy Ray Kilgore.
Maxine is survived by her children, Terri Ann Lowery, Eugene Kilgore and wife Lorena, Sandra Richardson and husband Darrell; grandchildren, Rebecca, Heather, Ryan, Austin, and Justin; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Noah Rios; Sister Rospeta E. Patterson; Brothers, Gordon E. Shelley and Kenneth Shelley, close family and friends; Barbara Ann Craig, Robert and Bonnie Kilgore, Betty and Jim Blott; Durwood and Karen Herselin, Dian and Lisa Richardson, Richard and Vickie Kaechler; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
