Maurice Dunn

Maurice Norman Dunn, 72, of Robinson, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016, at a local hospital. Services are to be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Robby Kirby of New Hope Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening, July 18, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive.

Maurice N. Dunn was born September 23, 1943 in Houston, to Morris Dunn and Hattie Bethke and moved to the Waco area shortly after that. He married Sally Ann Tindell, the love of his life, on February 11, 1961 in Waco.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Mark E. Dunn, his dad Morris Dunn, and his wife Sally Ann Dunn.
Survivors include his mother Hattie Eskew, daughter Janice Handley of Robinson, son Morris Dunn and wife Pam of Waco. He had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren including: granddaughters, Manda Johnson and Roxanne Garcia and great-granddaughter, Leigh Ann Lechler who were all raised by him. He is loved by all nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be James Dunn, Brandon Dunn, Mark Dunn, Justin Dunn, Chantz Davis and Morris Dunn.
