Mary Spink

Mary Higginbotham Spink, 80, of Robinson, TX, passed away Thursday January 27th, 2022. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral services on Saturday. Services will be held Saturday February 5th, 2022 at 2 p.m at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr. Waco, TX with Rev. Joe Peebles officiating.

Mary was born February 3rd, 1941, to William and Ethel Higginbotham and was the baby of 12 children.
Mary loved so many aspects of life including her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an avid gardener and could bring any outdoor space to life. When not in the garden you could find her playing video games with the grandchildren. (She would secretly practice while they were in school.)

At other times you could find her enjoying many arts and crafts including scrapbooking, sprucing up the home, thrift shopping and later in life adult coloring books. She loved her church family and the many friends she made thru her Christian faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents Will and Ethel Higginbotham , her husband William Pete Spink, brothers William Harding Higginbotham, Warren G Higginbotham, Bobby Ray Higginbotham, Johnnie Earl Higginbotham. Her sisters Jewel Smithheart, Flora Leen Endsley, Daisy Lee Higginbotham, Mildred Sims, Grace Sanderson and Patsy Ruth Paris.. and her son Eiley Ray Holliman Jr.

She is survived by her son Roger E. Holliman, daughters Charlene “Charlie” Allen and fiancée' Pamela Ramirez, Lillian Post and husband Larry and Bernice Spink; her grandchildren Ryan Henderson and husband Robert, Kristin Holliman Skubal and husband TJ, Michael Anthony Holliman, Stephanie Post Thompson and husband Kyle, William “Alex" Post and wife Samantha, Brock Holliman and Lexi Holliman as well as many nieces, nephews and great great-grandchildren.
