Mary Rodriguez

Mary Margaret Rodriguez, 73, of Waco passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am, Saturday, January 18th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2621 Bagby Ave., Waco. The family will receive visitors 6-8:00pm, Friday, January 17th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.

Margaret was born April 13, 1946 to Eugene and Maria Hilaria Rodriguez in Waco, Texas. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved spending her time on road trips, sewing and watching the Game Show Network. Known to most as Tita, she enjoyed game night with family and her secret Taco Bell trips. She was a people person, very outgoing and made an impact on all that crossed her path. Tita lived life for her grandkids. You could always catch her singing and dancing with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Eugene Rodriguez.

Margaret is survived by her son, James Rodriguez and wife Erika; daughter, Megan Rodriguez and significant other Misty Hoven; grandchildren, Elijah, Hilaria, A.J., Grace, and Aaron; sister, Liz Duke; nephew, Matthew Duke; niece, Lisa Acosta; and many close friends.
