Mary (Pete) Hicks

Mary (Pete) Lena Hicks, 100, of Chalk Bluff passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in Waco. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 2 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Rev. Steve Jackson and Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mary was born December 6, 1922 in Durango, Texas to George and Mary (Schmid) Radle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Malvin (Mutt) Hicks.

Mary is survived by her son, Dale Hicks and wife Kay of Port Mansfield; grandchildren, Hunter Hicks of Houston, Neal Hicks and wife Tanisha of Seabrook; great-granddaughters, Gracie and Kate; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
