Mary Elliott

Mary Ann Elliott went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Wesley Woods Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be at 10am Saturday, July 15th at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, 1207 N Robinson Rd, Waco, with Dr. Cary Killough officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm on Friday, July 14th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.
Mary was born on September 27, 1927 in Waco to David Russell and Lillie Scott. She graduated from Waco High School. She married Horace Bishop Elliott, Jr. on June 22, 1946. Mary worked for Hancock Fabrics for many years and took care of her family. She was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, HB Elliott; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Micky Burke; and son-in-law, George Meyer.
Mary is survived by her children, Vicky Ann Elliott Meyer, Don Richard Elliott, Lori Vanice Elliott Goedeke and husband Tony; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren on the way; many nieces and nephews that she loved very much; and loving pet, Tiger.
A special thanks to Judy Goedeke who took care of her when she was at home and to the administration, nurses, and staff at Wesley Woods, who took such good care of her during her stay.
