Mary Demas

Ladell Demas, 58, of Robinson, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, November 5th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. with burial to follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 4th from 6pm – 8pm at the funeral home.
Ladell was born April 18, 1956 in Whitney, Texas to Henry Odell and Helen Jo Cockrum. She attended Robinson High School and went on to work 24 years at Texas State Technical College. Ladell was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest son, Gregory Odell Demas.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her fiancé and best friend Mark Szuch of Robinson; sisters, Linda Cockrum of Thornton and Vickie Plemons of Axtell; son, Christopher Demas and wife Angie and their 3 children in Ohio; grandson, Cody Demas, whom she raised, and his wife Kimber, and their daughter Amara, all of Waco; grandson, Travis and granddaughter, Taylor as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ladell’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to The HOT Area of Aging, Alzheimer’s/Dementia Association, Groesbeck LTC, Providence Hospice and Visiting Angels for the love and support shown to them and Ladell.
