Mary Compian

Mary Compian, 81, of Waco passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, July 31st at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Albert Fuentes officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening July 30th from 6-8 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Mary was born August 15, 1933, in Lockhart, Texas to Gregorio and Marcela Mendoza. She married Matias Compian March 19, 1952, in San Antonio. Mary was a music lover that smiled all the time. She was joyful and cheerful by nature with a great sense of humor. Mary always had a story to tell about her youth and past experiences. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Matias Compian; a granddaughter; and three brothers.
Survivors include her children, Linda Banda, Dorothy Burge, Robert Compian and wife Elaine, Joe Compian and wife Soledad, Gloria Connolly, Daniel Compian, Anthony Compian, Melissa Gonzales and husband David, Monica Compian and fiancé Rickie; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Georgia, Tomasa, Eleanor; brother, George; numerous nieces and nephews.
