Marvin Lee Symm,85, of Robinson passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 in Eastland, TX. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2000 Clay St. Waco with Pastor Jim Price and Pastor Keith Reich officiating. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Pecan Grove F.H. 3124 Robinson Dr. Marvin graduated from Moody High School and attended Texas A&M before entering the U.S. Army in 1950. After returning from the service he worked as a carpenter and contractor for many years and retired from Barrett Construction Co. Marvin and Frances Wolf married on Jan. 4, 1953. She preceded him in death in September 2013. He is survived by sister, Vernell Reich and husband Harold of Cisco, nephew Pastor Keith Reich and wife Stacy of Hamilton, niece Jeanine Blanks and husband Eric of Weatherford, seven great nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by one niece and one nephew. Pallbearers are Eric Blanks, Blake Reich, Keith Reich, Carl Symm, and Rodney Winkler and Bob Winkler. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
