Marvel Joyce (Mackie) Beavers passed away May 11, 2017 in Robinson, Texas. The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 12 from 5-7 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco. Services will be Saturday, May 13 at 10 am at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Marshall officiating. Graveside services will be private.
Marvel was born September 3, 1938 near Cedar Springs, Texas to Edward E. and Emmie Lou (Radford) Mackie. She attended Lott High School. She worked at Connally Air Force Base, and then for the VA for many years, retiring early.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Pendergraft.
Marvel is survived by her husband, Clifford W. Beavers; sons, Kevin and Kenneth Pendergraft; brothers Ted, Terry, Nick, and Bob Mackie; grandson Jeremy Pendergraft, and many other grandchildren.
