Martha Villarreal of Hewitt died Saturday, July 25, 2015. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 29, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Mrs. Villarreal was born September 28, 1951, in Monterrey, Mexico, the daughter of the late Jose Angel and Juana SiFuentes Campos. She earned a bachelor degree from San Angelo State University in 1977. She later earned her alternative certification for teaching from Sam Houston State University in 1992. She touched the lives of many young people, having taught in Marlin High School and University High School. In 2008, she retired after twenty years of service to the education profession. Throughout her life, she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to Mexico to see family.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Villarreal; a son, Luis Gonzalez and wife Jessica; a daughter, Cora Arias and husband Christian; a brother, Jose Miguel Campos; two grandchildren, Cailyn Gonzalez, Andrey Arias; three nephews, Daniel Campos, Jose “Mike” Miguel Campos and David L. Campos.
