Marta Salinas

Marta Garcia Salinas, 76, of Robinson, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, October 2, from 2 to 4 PM at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr., Waco. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, at 11 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Greg George officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 IH-35 Robinson, TX 76643.

Marta was born on March 4, 1946 in Escobares, TX to Antonio and Lucinda Garcia.

Throughout her life she loved spending time with family and friends, shopping, sewing and playing bingo or going to the casino. She also enjoyed collecting roadrunners.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Alicia Zuniga; nephew, Samuel Zuniga; great-granddaughter, Alison Lee Ann Ebeling; grandson Eric Anthony Salinas; and parents Antonio and Lucinda Garcia.

She is survived by her husband, Raudel Salinas of Robinson, TX; daughters Cynthia Brown and husband, Lance of North Richland Hills, TX, Yvonne Salinas of Robinson, TX; grandchildren, Eleshia Brown and husband, Jesse Ebeling of Stephenville, TX, Nathan Brown of Rockwall, TX, Kristin Friesenhahn and husband, Dalton of Fort Worth, TX; great-grandchild, Baylee Ebeling; sisters, Julia Escobedo of Shallowater, TX, Josefina Garcia and husband Lorenzo, Graciela Garcia and husband, Manuel of Delano, CA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
