Mark Kline Frazar, 55, of Waco, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019. A graveside service will be held 10am Wednesday October 23rd at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 S. I35, Waco, with Rev. Jerry Freedman officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Tuesday, October 22nd at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Waco.
Mark was born November 4, 1963 in Paris, Texas to Robert Harvey and Earline Marie Frazar. He attended school in Paris and went on to Texas State Technical College. Mark entered the United States Army in 1983, and continued his education while serving. He was stationed in Darmsdadt, Germany with the 94th Engineer 18th BDE and ended his career in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina in 1987. A year after leaving, he missed serving his country and re-enlisted in 1988. During this time, Mark served in Stuttgart, Germany with the 190th Maint. Co. and then went to Ft. Hood, Texas in 1991, where he met the love of his life Connie Lynn Holmes at a Travis Tritt concert. He officially ended his military journey in February of 1992 and started his new one with his marriage to Connie that same month. They enjoyed 27 years of marriage together. He loved his military career and remained friends with his fellow soldiers. Mark was a diesel heavy equipment mechanic for over thirty years, working at Darr Equipment and retiring from Dr Pepper/ Snapple when his health forced his retirement. He was a fixture at the Lacy Lakeview Little League Fields where he was a coach and also served on the board. Mark was a Mason and a member of The American Legion. He was a devoted husband, son, son-in-law, and uncle who went by Baldy or Unkie Mark.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, James H. Holmes; and nephew, J.R. Burt.
Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Connie; sister, Laura Hyman; nephews, Cody Ray, Calib Rains and Harvey Hyman; mother-in-law, Evelyn Holmes; sister-in-law, Cathy Burt; niece and nephew, Sara and Randell Kyle; and great nephew, Noah Kyle, as well as many friends.
