Marie Marshall

Marie Marshall, 72, of Moody, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015, surrounded by her family. A memorial service for Marie will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 23, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.

Marie was born March 4, 1943, in Ovalo, Texas, and grew up in Del Rio, Texas. She worked at Alcoa Fastening Systems for 40 years, retiring this year. She considered her coworkers as family and loved them dearly. On October 12, 1984, she married David Marshall and they spent over 31 wonderful years together. Marie’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved spending time cooking for family get-togethers and fishing at the lake. She also enjoyed gardening. Marie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Marie was preceded in death by her son, Brian Lee Bolden; mother Mary Powell, and her grandparents.

Marie is survived by her husband, David Marshall; son Kenny Bolden and wife Suzette; her grandchildren Candace Bolden, Ashley Bolden, and Jeremy Bolden; her great-grandchildren Khara Vrana and AnnaLeigh Bolden; and her brother Jim Marshall and wife Rosa.
