Marian Riggs

Marian Katherine Riggs, 92, longtime resident of Waco, passed away Tuesday, June 24, in Waco. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28 at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum. No visitation scheduled at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Marian grew up on a farm near Ranger, TX. She married her college sweetheart, Robert Riggs, who preceded her in death in 1997. Marian worked at Baylor University a number of years and retired in 1983.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children; Dr. Michael Riggs and wife Donna; Patricia Walker and husband John; and Pamela and husband Jack. Also she is survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
