Maria Guerrero

Maria Guerrero, 78, of Waco, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday, March 18 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., with Rev. Frank Alvardo officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm, Thursday, March 17 at the Funeral Home.
Maria was born June 2, 1937 to Teodoro Hernandez and Marciana Gonzalez in Monterrey, Mexico. She married Ruben Guerrero May 11, 1956.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two children, four grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Ruben; children, Guadalupe M. Guerrero, Martha E. Guerrero, Eloisa Castillo and husband, Jose, Lucero Pevia and husband, Felix, Joe R. Torres; grandchildren, Monica, Oziel, Mayra, Jaime, Jose Jr, Juan, Lucy, Ruben, Erika; great-grandchildren, Angelo, Chris, Jennifer, Jovanna, Luis, Alyssa, Daniel, Kayla, Juan Jr, Neida, Oziel Jr, Christian, Aleah, Lexie, Brylee, Emma, Felix, Nathan; great-great grandchildren, Mariyah, Aniyah; brother, Jesus Hernandez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
