Margaret A. Harbour, 87 of Waco passed away Saturday June 12, 2010 in Waco. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 15th at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Lester Adams officiating. The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.
Margaret was born in Mt. Calm, Texas on May 13, 1923 to John Hobbs and Audrey (Parten) Hobbs. She graduated from Mt. Calm High School. She married Forrest Harbour in 1943 in Waco. They were married for 34 years. She worked for Certainteed Corp. retiring with 17 years of service. She was a long time member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She loved to play 42 with her buddies. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forrest Harbour; granddaughter, Cynthia Duncan; grandson, Jeremy Mitchell; sisters, Jeanette Smith and Johnnie Fox.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Duncan Hulsey and Sheila Mitchell; sister, Betty Sue Inlay; grandchildren, Natalie Wyatt and husband Jimmy, Amy Mitchell Young and husband Josh; great-granddaughters, Crystal and Kayla Wyatt; great-grandson, Jacob Young; great-great-grandson, Leevi Lawson; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Doris Beard.
