Margaret Briscoe

Margaret White Briscoe of Temple Texas, passed away on December 20, 2023, at TLC East in Temple.
Margaret was born December 27, 1947, to Clarence and Irene Bardin White in Stroud, Oklahoma. She attended Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University, earning her bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Margaret worked for the State of Texas as a Juvenile Probation Officer until her retirement. Margaret loved life. She enjoyed going to dances and dancing the night away. She went to every garage sale in town as often as she could. Another of her favorite hobbies was eating Hot Tamale and Red-Hot candies. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed visits from the church while in the nursing home. More than anything was her love for her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the highlights of her life’s accomplishments.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings. She is survived by her sons Michael Briscoe and his wife Angelique, and David Briscoe and his wife Amber. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
