Manuela Ramos Perez “Nellie”, of Waco, TX, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April, 12, at St. Francis on the Brazos, 315 Jefferson Ave, Waco, TX, with Father Eduardo Jazo as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Rosemound Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Manuela was born February 12, 1954, in Waco, TX, to Manuella Tanguma Ramos and George Ramos, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; common law spouse, Jesse Sandoval Jr., grandparents, Nasaria Zartuche Ramos, Jose Angel Ramos, Andrea Franco Tanguma and Baldomero Tanguma; her brothers. Baby George, Carlos Antonio, Lorenzo and George Ramos, Jr.; sisters, Virginia Ramos Cavazos and Nasaria Ramos Ledesma; and her nephew whom she considered a son, Carlos Antonio Ramos.
She is survived by her brothers, Amancio, Gilbert and Ronnie Ramos; ex-husband, whom she shared a special bond throughout the years, Juan V. “Johnny” Perez; her sons, Richard Perez and wife Christina, Johnny “Jay” Perez and wife Lisa, and daughter Gina Perez Enriquez and husband Eric; grandchildren, Ashley Miller (James “Chief”) and their children, Liliana Perez, Vicente and Jayla Morales, James (III), Harmony and Jaxson Miller, Anthony Perez, Mahala Witt (Tyler) and their children Niko and Tessa, Sirena Andrade (Julius) and their children Nai’el and Milani Sandoval, Janay, Esai and Xaiylah Andrade, Nicholas Perez (Amanda) and their daughter Amelia, Micah Perez and his daughter Aliana, Jay Perez (Evelyn) and their children Jayden, Elijah and Abel, Hope Perez, Brian Garcia (Daisy) and their daughter Mina, Diana Perez and her children Alaia Perez and Jo’Angel Valdez, Alyson Perez, Erica Karis and Max Enriquez; step-grandchildren Morgan Rosario, Lauren Mendez, Eric, Alexandria, Jonathan and Thomas Enriquez; along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved.
Pallbearers will be Micah Perez, Jay Perez, Brian Garcia, Vicente Morales, Michael Ramos, and Gilbert Ramos, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Angel Ramos and Timothy Ramos
