Luther Carnahan “Jr”, 36, of Robinson, passed away December 27, 2014 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple after a brief illness. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 31 from 5pm – 7pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
Luther was born October 6, 1978 in Waco to parents, Luther E. Carnahan, Sr. and Lois Janelle Kent Carnahan. He attended Connally schools and played football for Connally High. Luther lived his life to the fullest. He loved sports, fishing, music and racing his car at the HOT Speedway. Luther was also an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns. At the time of his passing, he was employed as grocery manager at Brookshire’s in Robinson. Luther touched many lives in his 36 years and will be deeply missed.
Luther is survived by his parents; his twin sister, Crystal Carnahan of Waco and his other sisters, Jessica Lucio and husband Bryant of Waco and Kimberly Valmera and husband Ges of Florida; 3 sons, Michael, Trey and Matthew Carnahan; nieces, Keelye, Madison, Brooke,and Jessica; nephews, Austin and Ian; and close family friend, Vincent Fernandez, who was like a brother to Luther.
