Louise Muchow

Annie Louise Muchow, 94, of Waco, Texas, left us peacefully on February 25, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Louise, will always be remembered for her kindness and unconditional love.

Born on February 28, 1930, in Glendale, Louise grew up the daughter of John and Lemmer Hand and sister to five siblings: John, Wallace, Gladys, Leslie, and Ernest. 

Louise worked for General Tire in the payroll department. On February 16, 1947, Louise married the love of her life, Earl Muchow. The two shared a devoted romance that lasted nearly 60 years and yielded two children and three grandchildren.

Louise is survived by her granddaughter, Michelle Duggan, and grandsons: Russell Muchow and Christopher Muchow, as well as her great-grandchildren Blake Obr, Bryson Obr, Mekenzie Morris, Kalli Muchow, Kyrstin Muchow, Russell Muchow the 3rd, Harrison Muchow, and Joss Muchow, along with great-great-granddaughter Lucy Obr, plus brother Ernest Hand. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, and her sons, Russell and Randy.

A graveside service to celebrate Louise’s life will be held on March 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff.
