Lonnie Hayslip

Lonnie Eugene Hayslip, 86, of Robinson, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015. The family will receive visitors, Thursday, January 8, from 5-7 pm, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Lonnie was born, September 4, 1928, in Cold Springs, OK, to Henry and Viola Hayslip. He married the love of his life, Mattie Pearl, on June 3, 1950, of this union they had two children, David and Donna Hayslip. He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 20 years of faithful service. He then worked for the U.S. Customs, also giving 20 years of dedicated service. He was a Master Mason for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, spending time with his great-grandkids and hearing a good joke. He was a loving husband, father, brother and Papa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 61 years, Mattie; grandson, Bryan Kempher; brother, Jerry Hayslip and sister, Betty White.
He is survived by his children, David Hayslip and wife, Janice and Donna Griffen and husband, Michael; grandchildren, David Aaron Hayslip, Dawna Pollock and husband, Jordan and Cash Everett Hayslip; sisters, Almeta Bonness and Brenda LeBeth and husband, Donnie; numerous extended family and dear friend, Virginia Travors.
