Lois Patterson

Lois Patterson passed away August 24, 2014 in Waco at the age of 92. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27 from 5pm to 7pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28 at 10am at the funeral home with burial to follow at White Rock Cemetery.
Lois was born June 13, 1922 in West to Allen and Gracie Pearl (Greenhill) Busby. She was a member of Lakeshore Church of Christ and enjoyed playing Bingo and dominoes with her church friends. She retired in 1984 from M & M Mars. Lois was also a big fan of Baylor basketball and enjoyed cheering on the Lady Bears. She loved to read, fish and bake, and was known for her delicious homemade donuts.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Gracie Busby; husband, Marshall Richard Patterson; son, David Patterson; daughter Carol Ann Morris; sister, Helen Penland and brother, Dick Busby.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, Robert Busby; son, Jimmie Patterson and wife Janet; daughters, Gale Poquette and Judy Shephard and friend, Roy Sims; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
