Linda Jean Wasson (Dazinski) was born on February 8, 1956 in Newark, NJ to Jean and Stanley Dazinski. While working in Fort Monmouth, NJ, Linda met the love of her life, Robert Wasson, who was serving in the Army. Linda and Robert married in 1975, just 6 months after their first date. Soon after they wed, they moved to Georgia for a short while before moving to Waco to settle down and build a family. Linda worked in various offices in Waco in administrative roles including Texas National Bank, Naman Howell Smith & Lee, and the Richard Hill Agency.
Linda enjoyed 41 beautiful years of marriage, 38 adventurous years of parenthood and 11 years as a beloved grandmother where she became known as ‘Cici’.
Linda had a beautiful soul. She invested her life wisely, focusing on loving and serving her family and friends with everything she had to give. You would often find Linda in the kitchen, baking or cooking something delicious to be served to her family and guests. It was very important to her that everyone felt valued, special and taken care of in her home. Linda’s favorite color was country blue and she believed lace could be applied to just about anything. An expert at crocheting, she made ‘Cici’ blankets for her children, grandchildren and family friends. Her hands were always busy serving others because of the love and gratitude she held in her heart.
In her final days, Linda continually thanked God for her many blessings and cherished her time with Robert, their daughters and son-in-laws, and their five grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Even cancer could not dim her perspective on what matters most.
Linda leaves behind dear friends and loved ones, especially her devoted husband, Robert; her daughters, Kathy Pavlovich and husband, Matt; Melissa Little and husband, Jon; her grandchildren Rachel Little, Brooke Little, JJ Little, Harper Pavlovich and Hudson Pavlovich. Her parents precede Linda in death along with her brother Bobby Dazinski.
