Linda Sue Haug, 74, of Robinson, TX, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021. A celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, at Bethel Methodist Church in Robinson, TX, with Rev. Sam Shreffler officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the church.
Sue was born October 31, 1946 in Waco, TX, to William and Edith Redding Erskine. She was married to John Henry Haug who preceded her in death in 1981. Sue worked as a loan consultant for many years in Waco. After retirement she worked as a substitute teacher at Robinson ISD, and was fortunate to have many of her grandchildren in her class. Those who knew Sue would describe her as a caring and compassionate Christian woman, who loved her family and her church family and was always helping those in need. She was a long time member of Bethel Methodist Church in Robinson. Sue was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, affectionately known as Mimi. She loved watching football with her family.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; son, Robert Haug, and grandsons, Zachary and Preston Haug.
She is survived by her sister, Kay Overcash and husband Mike; daughter, Ginger Haug; grandchildren, Johnny Haug and wife Teri, Katie Clay and husband Tyler, Kristin Johnson, Tori Haug, Tabbie Meador and Brady Haug; great-grandchildren, Aaron Haug, Colt Haug, Carter Haug, Thatcher Clay, Jensen Clay, Chandler Haug, and Baby Clay, who will be born later this year.
