Linda Luckett

Linda Luckett, 72, of Hewitt, passed away Friday November 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday November 22nd, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Waco with Rev. Thomas D. Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Thursday November 21st at the funeral home.
Linda was born on August 27, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Arthur and Genevive Thomas. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Ray Luckett on December 9, 1966. They were married nearly 50 years until his death on October 12, 2016. Linda was a devoted mother and wife, supporting Ray through his years of service in the United States Army. Shortly after Ray retired from the Army in 1980 they moved their family to Waco, Texas where Linda worked in property management for nearly 20 years.
Linda was a fun, outgoing woman who took great pride in her family and loved Jesus.
She is survived by a sister, Judy Johnson of Colorado; two daughters, Jeni Sykora and husband, Danny of Lorena; Lisa Whitehouse and husband Dale of Hewitt, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
