Linda Joyce Johnson, age 70, went home to the Lord as she was a devout Christian on May 26, 2022, due to congestive heart failure. She was born December 13, 1951 in Waco, Texas to Willie Dean and L.B. Moore. She married her longtime partner and love, Howard Ernest Johnson in 1982 who grieves with us today.
Linda was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. In her past time after her retirement from 29 years of service at Do It Best, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren, relaxing on her couch and watching a good western over & over….. She also enjoyed dancing, painting, music, ballgames, shopping and cooking her world-famous meatloaf while sliding around in the kitchen chasing after her beloved cat Jax. Most of all she loved spending quality time with all her beloved family. She was the best MOTHER in the entire world and will be deeply missed. We love you Mom!!
Linda is survived by her husband, Howard Johnson; sister, Sandra Moore; sister and husband, Ronda and Billy Good; her daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and David Good; her son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Patty Bounds; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Nadine Johnson, daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Mike Bracken; grandchildren, Maegan Nix, Brady Good, MaKayla Bounds, Bryce Good, Braxton Bounds, Santiago Diaz, Monica Martin, Kristin Johnson, Dylan Lee, Cody Janek, Robert Haddock and Lacie Johnson; plus seven great-grandchildren, Gracelynn Nix, Addyson, Aryanna, Ava, and Sadie Diaz, Briella, and Blakley Martin; her two nieces, Jennifer Cogburn and Jessica Collins; and one nephew, Daniel Good.
