Linda Florence Jacinto, 72, of Waco, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a lengthy illness on Friday, July 17, 2015, where she was surrounded by her family. Services will be on Monday, July 20, at 1 p.m., at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with a private family burial to follow.Linda was born January 18, 1943, in Waco, Texas.
She worked for the City of Waco, EOAC Headstart and Calvary Daycare. She was a member of Calvary Chapel Waco for the last 13 years. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, cooking, and attending high school football games where her son coached.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Louis Gonzales Sr. and Victoria Gonzales.
She is survived by five children; Armando Jacinto and wife, Idell, of Spring, Leticia Holbert of Hercules, California, Deanna Hicks and husband, John, of Mansfield, Daniella Jimenez and husband, Ricky, of Waco and Patricia Fuentes and husband, Albert, of Waco; brothers, Louis and Christopher Gonzales of Waco; sister, Theresa Calcote of Waco and Victoria Tullos (Vicky Lynn) of Louisiana; grandchildren, Valatisha Jacinto, Marissa Holbert, Krystina Hicks, Armando Jacinto Jr., Velencia Jacinto, David Holbert, Jacob Fuentes, Grace Jimenez, Hannah Fuentes; two great-grandchildren, Alashya Horn and Jaceston Evans.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Armando Jacinto Jr., David Holbert and Jacob Fuentes.
Linda's family would like to give a gracious thank you to Providence Hospice, as well as Royal Manor Nursing Home for her care.
