Lila Goodwin

Lila Bernice Goodwin, 76, of Temple passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10 at Eddy Cemetery. A viewing will be held 30 minutes prior to service at the cemetery.

Lila was born March 14, 1944 to Vernon and Vera (Richards) Kelley. She was raised by Maynard and Etta Hargrove.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jerry Gibson, Robert ‘Bob’ Roming and Cody Goodwin; her parents, Vernon and Vera Kelley, Maynard and Etta Hargrove; daughter, Kellie Gibson; sister, Evelyn Pacha; brothers, Buddy Hargrove, Rondie Kelley, James Kelley, Orville Kelley.

Lila is survived by her daughter, Buffy Gibson of Temple; sister, Peggy Warren and husband Ken of Quinlan, Texas; brother, Kenneth Kelley and wife Debra of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Giffatine Kelley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
