Boyd graduated Class of 74 from Lorena High School. He has worked for the last 23 years for Sturdisteel. This company was his extended family and friends. He always took pride in his work and was a valued employee.
Some of his many interests that he enjoyed were playing dominoes, shooting pool, darts, building model cars, fishing, riding Harleys, working in his shop, NASCAR, drag racing and watching football. His favorite team was the Chargers. He passionately loved music, listening to it, playing his drums in various bands, dancing to it and he loved to sing karaoke. Boyd was also in the “Wild West Regulators” doing gunfight reenactments.
He will be terribly missed by his precious cat “Matilda” and his dog “Pixie”; they are so lost without their daddy.

Our family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Sturdisteel, Scott and White Hospice; Baylor Scott & White McClinton Cancer Center - Waco and Dr. Singh; and to the Fleischman family for being there. Thanks to everyone for being there during this difficult time.
