Lauren Gail Caldwell, 69, of Mart, TX, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, at Mart Cemetery, 321 S Johnson St, Mart, TX.
Lauren was born March 30, 1951 to Laurence and Helen DuBroc in Killeen, TX. She married Dwain Caldwell in 1975. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved flowers and worked as a florist. More than anything, Lauren loved spending time with her grandsons and attending all of their activities. She had great love for animals, having many dogs and cats through the years and she enjoyed going on long car rides as well as visiting the beach.
Lauren was preceded in death by her mother, Helen O’Trupcak; brother, Christopher DuBroc; and son-in-law, Jim Cobbs.
She is survived by her husband, Dwain Caldwell; daughter, Wendy Whitby and fiance Quincy; grandsons, Cody Cobbs and wife Taylor, and Lane Cobbs; brother, Mark DuBroc and wife Katie; sister, Susan Bigham and husband John; step-father, Mike O'Trupcak; niece, Misty Hudspeth and husband Zane; nephew Scott DuBroc and wife Deanna; brother-in-law, Roy Robinson and wife Louise; and sister-in-law, Betty Price.
Honorary pallbearers are the many young men she called her grandsons - Evan Pavelka, Zachary Matthys, Jamal Pride, Derrick Dieterich, Cory Rogers, Cody Rogers, Quentin Bryant, Hunter Dawson.
