Laura Belle Kelm (81) of Robinson passed away May 26, 2015 at a local nursing home. Services will be held 10:00 am Saturday May 30, 2015 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Krupicka officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00am- 10:00am prior to the service Saturday May 30, 2015. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Laura was born on July 6, 1933 to William W. and Emma (Muegge) Wiese. She was baptized at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Cranfills Gap on August 27, 1933 and confirmed on May 30, 1948. She married Albert Kelm on July 1, 1951 at St. Olaf Lutheran in Cranfills Gap, Texas. They were married 58 years prior to his death in 2009. She was a charter member of Christ Lutheran in Waco and active until her health declined. Laura worked at L.L. Sams for 34 years. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother and was a dear friend to all. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and working in her flower gardens. She will be remembered for her sharp mind and sweet spirit.
Laura was preceded in death by husband Albert Kelm. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Mosier and husband Dennis, Michelle Lenamon and husband James; sons Marcus and wife Patricia and Daryl Kelm; three sisters Gertrude Gunn, Ora Marie Sanders and husband Henry, Emma Marbut; brothers Billie James Wiese and wife Lela, Kenneth Wiese and wife Audra; sister in law Bernice Kelm; special cousin Fred Matthies and wife Pat; special friends Bill and Dell Kaulfus; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
