Laura Louise Hale, 69, of Chilton, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Chilton, surrounded by her loving family. A private graveside service will be held at Rosemound Cemetery. You are invited to visit with the family on Friday, February 27 from 6 to 8 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. in Waco.
Laura was born September 28, 1945 in Waco to Buford and Betty West. She worked as a waitress in Marlin for several years and she also attended the Country Worship Cowboy Church.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 20 years, Gene Hale of Chilton; her daughter, Debra Burkhart and husband Denver of Chilton; grandchildren, Joe Parsons II of Chula Vista, California, Jennifer Moyer of McGregor, Christopher Parsons and Amanda Parsons, both of Chilton; sisters, Shirley Brummett of Marlin and Betty Falsone of Bowie; and brothers, Buford West of Waco and Ira West of Chilton.
