Larry Kuykendall

Larry Paul Kuykendall, 64, of Waco, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday, September 19th, at Beacon Hill Baptist Church, 1912 Monte Vista, Waco. Interment will follow at White Rock Cemetery in Ross. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 pm, Sunday, September 18th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.

Larry was born May 12, 1952 to James Monroe and Lillie Mae Kuykendall in Gonzales, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Stephen F Austin University. Larry loved the Lord and was a long time member at Beacon Hill Baptist Church. He spent several years volunteering at the VA hospital. Larry was a Ham radio operator and a member of the H.O.T.M.A.C. Club. He loved tinkering with everything he could get his hands on and spending time metal detecting with his granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Angela Hudson and husband Daniel; granddaughters, Angela Danielle Hudson and Krystal Lee Hudson; fiancée, who was the love of his life, Paula Clements; brothers, Robert Leon Kuykendall and Monroe Shannon Kuykendall; Aunt and Uncle, Virgie and Doyle Clifton; several nieces and nephews; along with numerous cousins.

The family requests memorials be made in the form of donations in Larry’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
