Lance Black

Lance Edward Black, 48 of Austin, TX went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., on Saturday January 21,2023, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, TX.
Lance was born on December 31, 1973 in Zanesville, OH and grew up in Waco, TX. Lance is preceded in death by his mother Delores Jean Black and father Larry Glen Black.
He is survived by his brothers, Jesse Glen Black, and Shawn Aaron Black and wife Marcy Black; his ex-wife and dear friend, Samantha Marie Underhill; his nieces and nephews, Heather Jean Black-Ricau and husband Jake Ricau, Patrick Watkins, Kayla Black and Jesse Black and their mother, Stacy Black; great nephews and nieces, Alexander Black, Aaron Irwin, Emersyn Rayne Watkins, Oliver Jayce-Paul Hittle, Lily Longino and Madison Nunn; his adopted family Lynn and Michelle Gustafson including his God-children, Alyssa, Elizabeth and Gabriel Gustafson; along with other significant extended family.
Lance's hobbies included photography, culinary traveling, taking road trips, target shooting and tinkering with antique automotives. But most of all Lance loved spending time with his friends and family.
