Kirk Taylor

Kirk Scott Taylor, 51, of Hewitt passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, June 5 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson dr. in Waco. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Goldthwaite. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
Kirk was born January 19, 1964 in Westminster, CA to Owen Keith Taylor, Sr. and Mildred (Bryant) Taylor. He was a truck driver for many years, and owned and ran a local restaurant most recently. Kirk was an avid hunter and enjoyed his many hunting trips with his friends. He spent much of his time working on his ranch in Goldthwaite.
He is preceded in death by his father. Kirk is survived by his mother, Mildred Leonard; siblings, Owen Keith Taylor, Jr. and wife Marlene of Spring, Marcy Lian Taylor of Austin, Glenda Taylor Bailey and husband Tom of Goldthwaite; children, Jennifer Tollett and husband Danny of Abilene, Lisa Turner and husband David of Brownwood, Michael Taylor of Goldthwaite; grandchildren, Adalyn Tollett, and Garrett and Ethan Turner. He also leaves behind his wife, Donna Ruth Taylor; stepchildren, Brittney Smith, Lauren Fabela and husband Robert of Hewitt and Seth Ohde of the home, as well as step-grandchildren, Josiah, Rylee and Eiden.
