Kim Richardson

Kim Louise Richardson, 68, of Waco, TX, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. The memorial visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m., this Saturday, June 17, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Kim was adopted from South Korea by a loving family from California, where she was raised and attended school. She was an avid swimmer and diver. Kim moved to Texas to further her career as a Kinesiology Therapist. She worked at the Waco Veteran’s Hospital, retiring after more than 30 years. Kim had a resilient spirit and an infectious laugh. She was always the life of the party. Kim had a passion for caring for others and was considered a second mom by many. Becoming a grandmother was one of the greatest joys in Kim’s life. She loved her grandchildren very much.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ellen Marris; and her sister, Lin.
She is survived by her children: Nikki Richardson; Kyle & Amanda Richardson, and daughters, Emma and Kylee; Tisha Richardson & Ben Panter and children, Willo, Weston and Wynter; niece, Mylene Harris and her children, LeDeja and Elijah; along with many other family members and friends.
