Kim Combs

Kim Linet Combs 46, of Waco, passed away Sunday, July 26th, 2015 at a local hospital. A graveside service will be held at 10am Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Rosemound Cemetery with Rob Sellers officiating. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, from 6-8 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.

Kim was born on March 30, 1969 in Waco, TX to Roland and Sandra Woods. She graduated from University High School in 1988. She loved doing crafts, making wreaths, crocheting, knitting hats, and enjoyed going to play bingo. Kim was a thoughtful, loving mother and Nana and had the biggest heart. Playing with her grandsons put the biggest smile on her face. She loved fixing peoples makeup and hair, especially her own, even if it was just to be at home. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Roland “Woody” Woods, and her step-father, George “Papa George” Lowrie.


Kim is survived by her daughter, Melissa Trevino and husband Andres; son Anthony Combs; her life partner, Anthony Luecke; her mother, Sandra “Sandy” Lowrie; step-mother, Dianne Woods; sisters Janet Woods-Alaminski and Lori Ballinger; step-brother David Smith; step-sister Maureen Hough; grandchildren, Andres Jr. and Samuel; along with her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was an animal lover, and her fur babies, Precious and Baby Girl.
