Kathy Battle

Kathryn (Kathy) Battle left this earth for heaven Friday, November 29, 2014 at 3:00 a.m. lovingly surrounded by her children. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 2 at 10am at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. with Rev. Mark Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. A visitation of family and friends will be Monday, December 1 from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
Kathy loved The Lord and had unending faith in Him. She loved her children unconditionally, was sweet, loved to laugh, and to go anywhere we wanted to take her. She loved her church and pastor and often asked people to come visit. Kathy especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind many wonderful memories. We were blessed to have her as Our Mom and want to thank her for being such a wonderful mother. Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Battle, and her baby daughter, Dolly Morris; parents, Charles and Ruth (Blackman) Richards, three sisters, & four brothers. She is survived by four daughters, Nancy & husband, D R Nolan, Diane & husband, Larry Stokes, Anna & husband, Larry David, and Evelyn Rickett; one son, Jackie Battle; brother, Robert Richards; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry David, Garrett David, Michael Nolan, Matt Nolan, Eddie Battle, Chris Lowe, Blake Cooper, and Sean McCoy.
