Kathleen Dean

Kathleen Ann Dean, 91, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 surrounded by her family. A visitation will be Sunday, February 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N Robinson Dr., Waco. In accordance with current regulations, face coverings, temperature checks, and social distancing will be required. There will be a private family graveside at a later date.

Kathleen was born October 26, 1929 to Charles and Mary (Hutchins) Schrader in Waco, Texas. She married Billy Joe Dean August 25, 1950. Kathleen retired from Olan Mills after many years of service. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Lorena. Some of her favorite things were spending time playing games, embroidery, hanging out with her grandchildren and especially eating Mexican food. Kathleen had a smile that would light up a room and everyone loved that smile.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy; four brothers; and one sister.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Dale Dean and wife Jean Marie, Sharon Dean, Debbie Villafana and husband Angel, Paul Dean and wife Connie, Rhonda Soto and husband Sonny, Billy Dean and wife Lucy, Ronald Dean and wife Louise; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
