Julius 'Pat' Germany

Julius Patrick Germany, 77, of Waco passed away Monday, March 29, 2021. Pat was born May 12, 1943 to John William and Helen Marguerite (Phillips) Germany in Waco, Texas. He graduated from Waco High School – Class of 1962. Pat joined the Navy in 1963, serving for two years and was honorably discharged in 1965. He worked for City of Waco Fire Department for 33 years until his retirement. Pat enjoyed deer hunting, baling hay, and astronomy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Mason Walker; half-sister, Gail Bennett.

Pat is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carol; children, Brian Germany and wife Madelyn, Sherri Smith and husband Eddie, Amy Dieterich and fiancé Chris Butler; grandchildren, Chance Germany, Zachary Germany, Noah Germany, Daniel Smith, Bailee Walker and Maycee Walker; great-grandchildren, Roman, Micah, and Caiden; brothers, Ray Germany, Johnny Germany; half-sisters, Virginia Wood, Vicki Morris; along with several nieces and nephews.
