Julia Benton

April 7, 1975 — August 21, 2022

August 21st 2022, Julia Benton left this life and has returned to the earth. She leaves behind a mournful family including her boyfriend, Luckus Moore and four children, Phillip, Brian, Nicholas, and Nathaniel.
Originally from Robinson, Illinois she moved to Waco, Texas hoping to provide a better upbringing than she had found in her hometown. She was hardworking and dedicated, never hesitating to do what she felt was right for her boys. Though tumultuous at times, she did the best she could to let them know they were loved and would always be cared for. Never failing to do anything she could to see her children smile.
She spent her last years in a rigorous fight with numerous variations of cancer. From her brain to her liver, it appeared making her survival seem very bleak. Faced with this news she never once gave up. She spent every day working hard and still being a beacon of affection and comfort for her family. She exhibited a strength unparalleled until her final moments. Never losing her unrelenting will to live.
She was a wonderful soul who never forgot how to smile, laugh, and enjoy even the darkest moments of life. She had a personality that not only lit up, but completely changed any room she entered. She was the kind of person you find once in a lifetime, and she leaves many a broken heart to mark the end of hers.
With pain in our chests and tears in our eyes we say our final goodbye to her this Sunday, August 28th. She lived a life to be celebrated and wished to leave no pain in her passing. So with smiles on our faces, we will wish her farewell. Until we meet again.
