Judy Carnaghi, 70, was called by the Lord after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. The family will receive visitors, Sunday May 4, 2014, from 2-4 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
She was known mostly for being an unselfish person, who always put others first. She was always seen with a smile on her face and had a story to tell. She was a very family oriented person who put her kids and grandkids above herself. She enjoyed attending her grandkids’ activities and was their biggest fan. She loved the coast, going on trips with her daughter and granddaughters, where every trip was an adventure, enjoyed going to her son’s barbecue cook-offs, and taking care of her animals. She really enjoyed being goofy with her granddaughters. Her favorite time of the year was spring, so she could watch the array of flowers bloom, especially the bluebonnets. She treated every friend she had like they were family and would go above and beyond to help them if they were in need. She will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her and being part of her “FAMILY”.
She is survived by: Son, Joe Carnaghi; daughter, Heather Herrington and husband, Clayton; and two granddaughters, Sabrina and Bethany Herrington; and Bentley, her Doberman pinscher.
We would like to thank all of the friends for adding such joy to her life throughout the years. In lieu of flowers, she would appreciate donations be given in her honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
